PAPER PHONE: A Peep Into The Future

"Technology is at the course of rapid evolution and things new now seems more than stale in a short time latter."
Four years back, the normal keypad based small screen feature phones with audio, video players and 2-5 MP camera  used to be a technology of great hype. Soon these feature phones evolved into smart phones hosting a bigger screen, touch controls for keypads, supporting multitasking etc.Within a year these compact gadgets started catching PCs in terms of power and performance. The Android OS from Google took the whole thing to a new level. Believe me! after introduction to the next episode of this chapter, all these would sound like a medieval age technology!!!
Meet the flexible, super thin and compact "PAPER PHONE".Outcome of the combined efforts of researchers from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, Arizona State University, USA, researchers from the E-Ink Corporation.

The Paper Phone

The flexible phone senses bending to perform various tasks. It can also be touch controlled and used for writing. Now seeing this, if we get a feel that we would get rid of papers in future, we certainly are not wrong. These flexible stuff are so efficient and handy that they can be stacked like papers, rolled, folded, used to store any kind of document etc.
More over if this technology in particular goes the way we want it, then it will protect large number of trees, we cut to manufacture papers etc. and will help maintaining a healthy ecosystem!!
